The North Bay Sports Hall of Fame was founded October 20th, 1977 with an avowed purpose to "honour and perpetuate the names and deeds of those whose athletic prowess brought fame to their community and to themselves; of those whose interest in and work for sport resulted in a climate which benefitted athletes and athletics.

There are many ways to recognize sports excellence in our community! Retired athletes and “builders" are eligible to be nominated to the Hall of Fame. And there are a wide array of yearly awards recognizing athletes of all ages for their achievements.
